After getting off to a great start, with an excellent swell for the trials and first round, the weather patterns have broken down for the Shark Island Challenge and left the competition stranded at the second round. With the waiting period finishing this Monday and no ideal swell due in the interim contest director Fordy has elected to extend the waiting period. At this stage a southerly swell is due next Wednesday and it's development will be keenly followed.
