By now you'd know that Cape Solander - AKA Cape Fear - was on the pump last Thursday. Six feet of E/SE swell had the reef draining for a coterie of rock jockeys. Tim Bonython filmed the day long session and has shared these sequential frame grabs with us. The first sequence is Mark Mathews, second is born again slab hunter Jughead Allport, and third is another fella who went missing a few years, the Gold Coast's Clint Kimmins (check how deep Kimmins is on the first shot).

With mega Pedra Branca, The Right in WA, bluebird Shipsterns, and now Cape Fear in the can, Tim's Australian Surf Movie Festival, touring in November/December, is looking pretty damn good.
