This past winter on the East Coast was one to forget. No, correct that, the Gold Coast did pretty damn good for a month or two so it was really only central and southern NSW that would like it erased from the memory banks.

Despite the lacklustre waves the season was signed off with two good swells, the first a medium-sized north and the second from the south of similar size. John Skuja was on the South Coast last week when the south swell hit. There he shot local fella, Leonardo Loro, making up for lost time at a famous left.
