The Noosa Festival of Surfing starts tomorrow (Sunday 14th) and the organisers are overjoyed. At present they have three feet of swell wrapping down the points and it looks set to stick around. There's also a bit of activity out in the Coral Sea that they'd be keenly watching.

The current swell combined with the recent rain combined to give a brown carpet ride down the Noosa points for locals and luminaries alike.
