I'm a fellow of particular tastes: I don't like beer marketed as blonde, I don't like flavoured chips (except salt & vinegar), and I don't like the name 'Ours' for a surfspot.

Especially...ESPECIALLY!...when said surfspot originally had one of the best names going: Pikers Hole. Is there a better name for a do-or-die barrel than Pikers Hole? Like beer and chips, some things just shouldn't be messed with.

Moving right along...

Mark Matthews, Jesse Pollack, Koby Abberton and others put on an incredible display of surfing last Saturday, however the word was they even piked a wave or two. Fortunately Matt Dunbar didn't film any of those but only the heaving pits they pulled into. And what pits they were.
