Though the commentators endlessly repeated how historic the day was, cynicism was nigh on impossible today at Peahi. From the opening warm up featuring Mark Mathews shoulder-busting drop to Billy Kemper's inability to pace himself to Greg Long's "best wave ever" closeout, there were too many moments to settle on a single highlight.
