As a south/south-east swell charged up Australia's East Coast (the same swell that's gonna hit Fiji tomorrow afternoon), Tim Bonython charged out of his Avalon abode and south down the highway. The destination an exposed ledge where, all things being right, a long left will grind down the rockshelf.

However, all things weren't right. For whatever reason the size didn't show and the left didn't grind. Fortunately the right threw a few for the assembled cast, including Julian Wilson, Karl Attkins, Pama Davies, Ian Lloyd, and Mark Mathews, amongst many others.
