Huge surf! First Chile then Mexico! Yeah, yeah, I know there are a few countries in between the two, however I'm yet to see any photos from this swell. Would love to see how the northern points of Peru fared, or the reefs of Nicaragua.

Mexican photographer Ave Centellas Gamboa took to the skies as Playa Zicatela was getting blasted by the biggest swell in years. At the height of the swell waves were washing down the main street, flooding houses, roads, and all the nearby fields.

Only a handful of waves got ridden on the day, but Mark Healey nabbed one of them. Click for the vid.
