I've seen a lot of shots of this reef lately that show nought but the back of other photographers heads. To put it lightly, the gallery can get crowded. More crowded than the take-off at times.

Nick Sheffield is one photographer that can't complain about obstructed views, he regularly swims into the pit to get the front row seat as the surfers set their line. In this batch it's Darryl 'Boogs' Vandepolder, Ox McKinley and Jack Irvine.
