It may lay dormant for more than half the year, but late Summer and early Autumn are a time of bounty in Noosa. For one, the Noosa Festival of Surfing is on and goodwill abounds. Then there's also the seasonal weather patterns, take the current arrangement as an example; a broad swathe of the trade belt has fired up creating a protracted swell event reaching into all of southern Queensland's points and bays. During such events Noosa's points can pump for days upon days - which it's doing just now.
