"It's been a terrible winter here in Perth," said Mike Maxted forlornly, yet immediately after uttering those word he quickly pepped up. "However I managed a little swim this arvo with some fun results."

The winds that have been dissecting each and every swell had swung offshore while the setting sun was playing tricks with the light spectrum. Soft pastels stretched to each horizon.

Meanwhile, Phil 'Choppa' Read hunted the shoulders as Mike marvelled at the light show.
