The Central Coast often flies under the surfing radar and you get the feeling the locals like it that way. With the surfing hordes of Sydney just a quarter of a tank away exposure becomes a double-edged sword: It's good to be acknowledged, but you can do without the crowds.

These shots were taken by Robert Dent during recent sessions at one of the local beachies. They feature favourite sons of the Cenny Coast, Glen Hall and Drew Courtney, plus a few others.
