After a slow old winter the swell activity on Victoria's Surf Coast has perked up ever so slightly in the last few weeks. The odd great swell has been interspersed by stretches of small waves - like right now, for instance, where Torquay is just 1-2 feet. Fortunately the next swell is due on Friday and shoud provide good waves right through the weekend.

Here's hoping it's got the quality of the last swell which hit the Surf Coast. That was just over two weeks ago and provided great waves to Bells and Winki. Photographer Erik Holt parked himself on the Bells/Winki headland and took in the view.
