Anyone have any tips on how to carry a surfboard on a platform roof rack such as the rhino pioneer platform or the tracklander racks or similar? They have accessories for boards but are expensive. The issue is the curve of the board when tying down. I've heard people use pool noodles...... Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Replicate these above with pool noodles as you said- A length of 1/2 inch pvc pipe through each noodle with a hole in each end and cable tie it down to platform / then tie down your shooter on top.
Saving about $102
