Rip Curl GPS series two watch

Does anyone have an opinion on those fangled dangled GPS watches(series two) by rip curl? I’m more interested in how easy they are to operate and download info etc. Thanks

I had the gps1. They are great bits of gear, but if you don't have iOS, the software is pretty terrible. Mine stopped syncing via desktop all together.

I was thinking of getting the GPS2. I emailed to ask if they are looking at making an Android app, but apparently not for at least another 12 months.

I would hold off if you don't have an iPhone tbh.
