Hi I'm an Italian boy of 20 years old. I started surfing 2 years ago in Cali, and later last year I went to Portugal, for a one month surf trip.

This summer I'm planning to go to Bali from 20august to 20 September, I've never been to Bali, where do you advise to go? How can I plan my trip, is better book only for the first week and later move around the island and book there? How it is in that period of the year? I'm alone, is a problem or I can find easily other surfer there to travel together ?

You can book somewhere for 3 - 4 days to get your 'Bali feet'...in that time you should be able to meet a few people and figure out how the place works; transportation, haggling, surf spots etc. Keep it simple and start in Kuta and then venture out to the other parts of the island, seeing as you're 20 you'll probably enjoy the nightlife as well. You'll figure out what works for you and what doesn't. You'll love it.
