If your going to Playgrounds area you want to go to Siberut, if you want to go to Ht's/lances/katiet you want to go to see Sioban but you still need to get a longboat ride, from memory about an 45 minutes or so much closer than Tuapajet, Tuapajet is maybe two hours away from Ht's.

BTW: Get there early it leaves on the dot, you have to pay extra for boards and it's quite expensive it's done by weight so don't put crap in with your boards, there is a losmen just near the ferry about 100 metres away that is okay and fairly cheap, but sorry forgot the name of it.
Sick ferry though, modern and fast with A/C and movies and only takes about 3 hours.

Planning to head out later in the year and just wanted to get a feel for ferry/fast boat services to playgrounds, lances etc.
With Lances do they take you right in to the break or is it still the canoe from Tuapaget? Any thoughts on this. The last guys fleeced me big time. All good but open to options.
Also is anyone going further south than Lances and doing the overland thing?
