I'm flying with Jetstar to Bali in March and have found out they wont take my Malibu due to some stupid length policy.
Has anybody else had this drama and what did they do?
This will be my 21st trip to Bali and never before have I had any drama's.
I've been in contact with dozens of air freight companies getting quote to get my board there before I arrive.
Average price $320.00
Does anybody have any ideas for me?

Buy or hire one when you get there...?

Whatever you do don't send it as freight as you'll be stung with import handling charges both there and upon return. Also whatever taxes and duties the local customs may wish to charge to have it cleared. (Time and money wasted when you want to be out in the water.)It would cost you less to buy a brand new board when you arrive. Everything changes when you forward as cargo instead of excess luggage.
Also depending on where you fly out of Jetstar restrict size due to what aircraft is to fly that route. Eg ex ADL we have the A320 which all baggage and boards are loaded in containers
with a door width of 156cm. It may fit in the container but not through the door.
Best to research the board hirer operators and save a lot of expense and worry I reckon.
Good luck.
