Using smaller fins as you increase length of board.?
Is this going against conventional wisdom?
Anyone here choose fins to surf in this way?
I can't see why he'd want the larger template in the shorter boards. Maybe the shorter the board the wider the tail for Mick?
Mick possibly wants to put shorter boards in more critical/hollow waves? I'm thinking Desert Point/Speed reef type waves. Shorter boards kinda fit in the pocket better in round barrels rather than almond shape.?

“With my thrusters I’ll use a MF large up to a 6’2” and once I jump on a 6’3” or bigger I’ll use MF medium fins,” says Mick. “With the quads it is the same sort of thing.
