Im going on surf trip with a buddy for about two weeks in the summer from Santa Cruz, California to Pacific City, Oregon; planning on taking highway one all the way up and sleeping for the most part in the back of our 4 runner. Any suggestions on camping, surf spots, and storing everything in the car? We both longboard competatively, but also enjoy some fun barreling beach breaks.

In our summer or theirs ?Good but hard to find surf, sleeping in cars bit suss both cops and weirdos in the pacific nw, lots rv parks that wont let you stay unless you self contained , very cold water and nights, hood booties, 4,3 min , good empty waves if you find them , south swells in summer north swells in winter (northern hemi) so completely different spots in dif seasons, Santa Cruz full of assholes, you will be told to fuck off by locals at a certain very very good left point in Oregon and if you surf anyhow tyres may be slashed or worse . Beautiful coastline, dont mention you are competitive longboarders anywhere may help if meeting locals (anywhere in the world)
