Joel Parkinson loses $600K on a Rugby League team.
This must be related to the Gold Coast Titans?
Instead of wanting to be a rockstar he could have taken the 600k put in any nominal Super account, sat on it for the next 20 years, retire early and receive 100k pa for the rest of his life.
Just sayin'.
Very practical Zen, every thing inline and squared up. :-))

So you think I should cancel my kickstarter raising a recovery fund for Parko then?
No Stainesie, keep it going to the end, announce to the media that you have come to his rescue, bask in the glory and then keep the money for yourself and don't return his calls. It'll be okay sounds like he'd be getting used to such treatment by now.
I don't, but if ever I am up that way I'll be sure to pack them and my pale blue safari suit.
I lost a lot more and making a lot less and certainly not living the dream so im not feeling any
pain for Joel. Yes im bitter he also snaked my best wave at Kirra.
