Any comment on water resistant qualities regarding a Fitbit?
There is no connection or it is is a non address on the website once you click through the surfing information link.
I can't see how it would be useful when surfing - does it record how far you paddle?
A family member is a boatie and was curious if it would last after salt water contact including immersion.
Thanks.

Never heard of 'em before. But a quick Google search brings up (from their blog):

"The Fitbit One is not waterproof, but it is rain, splash, and sweat proof. It should not be worn while swimming."

Yes this is the problem, Fitbit one may be a different fish to a Fitbit Flex.
Haven't heard of them?
Fear not , it is a deluge about to hit us all.
Not a scam like power balance wristbands but an exercise ,sleep, activity recording device worn by the user.
I just wonder if they can actually make device saltwater and surf proof.......
