Has anyone been to Kanddoma Resort - Maldives and what is the surfing really like?

I am an old man looking for some uncrowded and not too large waves in Paradise, is this the spot. Looking to go in April/May next year.

I did a trip to the Maldives in August and we went to South Male right at the end of our trip when North Male got too big. Nice right hander out the front of Kandooma's but I think it needs a bit of swell to get going. Looks like it could get epic - I only saw it at 2-3ft but it ran along the reef nicely even at that size. The long boarders were loving it but still fun for the short boards too. There is another wave around the back of the resort called Riptides which has a series of fun peaks but not much wall. Fun wave though but need to wait for the change in tide to surf it. Also another wave not too far away called Tucky Joe's i think.

If you're looking for uncrowded and not too large waves in paradise then Nusa Island Retreat in PNG is hard to go past....
