holy flippin hell how good was the mid on thursday arvo??

surfed snakes and it was amazingggggg

Yeah, more surf on the mid last week than in the previous 12 months,Thurs.arvo was mid 30s, 4ft. swell and not a drop out of place.Sunday ,Tues and Wed. were good too. A bit sad though if a 4ft swell warrants a new thread,shows how inco the joint is.The crowds were bordering on ridiculous so i surfed a fickle rarely surfed novelty reef by myself.

Nice one old-dog - I think I know that spot! Not sure if anyone else knew it by the same name, but I'm pretty sure my circle of friends referred to it as 'Squizzy's Right' (because Squizzy was the only guy we ever saw surf it). We're reaching far back into the memory vault for that though so my recollection may be somewhat foggy.

@thermalben, I believe the spot is called crossovers and that was a real lucky shot, it does some weird shit and is a desperate last resort wave but after surfing Seaford & Triggs with wall to wall heroes it was nice to have a mellow surf.
