This has been the suckiest winter ever. Westerly swells that last fuck all(unless your on the mid!) Summer was flat. Why do I persevere. The water is fucking freezing..Bring back el nino!!....although the farms are cranking and I (hopefully)will be a rich cunt!! Talk to me thermalben...

It's related the position of the Long Wave Trough, barely. Same reason Vicco's been under a lengthy spell of average surf this winter too. Not sure if there's any correlation between the SOI and water temps in South Oz though. Don't worry though, the LWT is quite active at the moment and is due to swing in South Oz's favour in the next couple of weeks.
