Easter Bells forecast
Small and onshore .!
Looks pretty good at this stage. Plenty of long range groundswell and a classic frontal progression to boot. Amazing how much the models have been moving around over the last few days but right now things are starting to take shape very nicely.
Models started firming up late last week re the Southern Ocean, and from Easter Saturday onwards it's looking great.
Here's an excerpt from Friday's notes, keep an eye out for an update tomorrow.
"The longer term outlook is finally coming together with a node of the Long Wave Trough expected to intensify across the South West of WA mid-late next week.
This should steer a series of broad and vigorous cold fronts up through our western swell window during next week(illustrated right), generating at least one large pulse of W/SW groundswell for the Easter Long Weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Sit tight though and check back for an update on Monday regarding this swell."
Hate Easter
Yes, I'm a hater
Let the " models " do their thing , just don't let everyone else get " firmed up " , and beeline for the honey pot .
Doesn't matter anyway , outside of VIC other states look better .... one of which including the 44 wished it came a week or two earlier .... Quite funny hearing people bag out Margies .
The ASP "official forecast" is currently significantly different to SN's.
I know it's still a while off but any of the forecasting gurus out there in SN world want to predict the weekend swell?
