I hesitate to ask this question here. I'm an old fart that surfed short boards since I was a kid. Shifted to a 7'8" "fun" board on the advice of a coach. It's never been fun. I think I must be riding it wrong. I'm now thinking of trying a long board (at least 9'). Has anyone had any experience with softboards of that size. Any recommendations?
