Hi Steve, unfortunately the surfcam streams are not designed for TV browsers at the moment. Best option for now would be to cast it from your iPad/iPhone to the TV. We're working on a TV solution at the moment though no ETA.

I can`t be the only person who has enjoyed swellnet on a big screen smart tv. Everything worked perfectly , including the surfcams available to non subscribers. When I decided to subscribe to expand access of the surfcams the designated beach is flashed up and then covered by a black sign which reads. Sorry ! We're experiencing technical difficulties with this surfcam . We'll have it back up ASAP. Everything else including the surfcam replays works fine. Realize your too busy to return phone calls. Thanks.

Is it only for that designated beach? I think the surf cam might not be working at that location, try another one.

Steve, our Swellnet Pro subscribers use a different media player than non-subscribers, so that could be causing the issue. Testing for this kind of problem is very hard because of the wide variety of TV manufacturers, and the different browser/software platforms.

Before each surfcam is blacked out with the service difficulties sign, the beach can be clearly seen.

That's sourcing a still image (which loads before the video). It's not part of the player.

I have this issue sometimes with Chrome on a browser using a PC and restarting the program helps. Not sure if that will help, or a different browser?
