And while we're here, another fantastic glass off resto, this time by Weasel Bedford on an old Wayne Lynch S-deck.
Lynch must've only been about twenty when that board was originally shaped.
In the before photos you can see why it was found at the dump, it looks totally cactus, but wow I'm stunned at how good post restoration she's come up. There's some skilled work there, well done Levi and to Rod as well.
Thats gold,wondered how they restored them,ya learn something everyday.......anyway first board i ever had a mate at tech shaped it and was very similar to the green Lynch one above......
Amazing craftsmanship.
But I have mixed feelings about these once the glass is taken off, foam reshaped, its almost just a replica of the original...almost might as well just start with a fresh blank.
Too true indo, hopefully the soul is still in the original foam........

Levi is in hot demand! he was in the other day and he said hes up to 6 months waiting list! You can see why you would wait for him!
Not Levi but another with some cool.old boards being given a rebirth ...
Cenny Coast board rebirther Levi Jones has been at it again, this time with an old Mitchell Rae-shaped Nirvana found on a rubbish pile. The board, as you can see, is a rudimentary Thruster from '81 (big single fin, smaller stabilisers) with Mitchell's signature touches, a flex tail and Persian slipper nose. Unusual channels in it too.
Levi has done a glass off resto, usually frowned upon in vintage circles but required for this lost cause. There are 40 photos, follow them down for an incredible makeover.
