Best Days: South swell magnets tomorrow AM, Wednesday and Thursday

Recap

Nothing of substance on the weekend while today a new S'ly swell has filled in with small 1-2ft waves in protected spots, bigger on the magnets but not the cleanest.

This week and weekend (Sep 1 - 6)

The cold front linked to today's S'ly swell has pushed away to the east and we'll see the size fade away, with easing 2ft sets on the south swell magnets tomorrow morning.

Conditions will be great with a W/NW-NW offshore.

There's a small pulse of S/SE swell showing for Wednesday but I'm unsure of the source, though we could see a continuation of small 1-2ft sets.

On Thursday another small pulse of S'ly swell is due, generated by a strong to gale-force fetch of polar W/SW winds this evening and tomorrow. The south magnets should see 2ft sets under N/NW winds, mixed in with some tiny N/NE windswell though likely not toping 1-2ft.

Unfortunately following these small and marginal swells there's nothing significant on the cards at all but check back here on Wednesday for any change to the outlook.
