Whoa! There’s some pretty serious frontal activity progged for the Tasmanian region later this week, which should set up a strong south swell for the weekend.
Small tomorrow with a building SW swell Wednesday, easing Thursday with decent winds. Secondary S/SW swell Friday and larger increase in size Saturday with offshore winds.
Easing S/SW swell with fresh E/NE winds tomorrow, tiny Wednesday morning with some late new S/SW swell, peaking Thursday though with average winds. Fun swell Friday and much larger on the weekend with winds from the south-western quadrant.
Small to tiny surf tomorrow, bottoming out early Wednesday with some new S/SW swell for later in the day. Better swell for Friday and large for the weekend, cleanest in protected spots.
A trough crossing the coast into Monday - linked in with a broad mid-latitude low to the south - will swing winds to the west across the Mid North Coast.
Nothing of significance over the coming period, possible better outlook from Monday week.
