Shortening An Existing Board Shape

I have a 6'8' mini mal shape board which goes really well and I though I'd have a crack at shaping a 6'4" with exactly the same dimensions. Question to you experts out there is where do I get rid of the 4 inches from - the centre of the board or the nose and tail. Or does it make any difference. Cheers

use one of the cad programs (i use aku shaper it has a monthly fee but its easier to use) to copy your 6'8" then scale it down to your other dims using boardcad or shap3d. This will scale down the outline and rocker.
