Looks worth fixing IB , I know they are not the same but you should get some more time out of it . Very clean break so would be worth trying. About 8 months ago I tried duck diving a 6ft set and while hanging on with a death grip underwater the board got ripped suddenly from my grasp and tore my shoulder.

Managed to stick the pieces together while maintaining what looks like the correct rocker. Will get some new lam resin and slowly finish the job.

I like riding this board even in 3-4ft waves, and hopefully it'll still go in that. Won't trust it in bigger stuff.

Bummer IB. Nothing worse than breaking a new board. Got a pipedream years ago and took it to TOS. Lasted three or four waves before the wave bottomed out, got smashed and came up to two pieces cleanly snapped just like yours.

Never fun, AH, but gotta be philosophical about the whole thing, I reckon. Been over 25 years since my last snapped board, and surfing and surfboards have been good to me.

Not being blase about the money, but I'll have a challenge bringing it back to life and seeing how it performs. If Ben Webb was right around the corner, it would have been tempting to give him a bell right away :-)
