Unfortunately using the RTSP protocol has security issues which will not be resolved in the foreseeable future. It's going to take a bit to find something acceptable. This issue is in Linux, don't know if M$ have sorted security or they're just using it as usual.
If you don't care about your security, carry on regardless.
