As for the John Howard 'battler', the 'aspirational', Tony's 'tradie', or as I like to describe them, the 'under-educated/over-mortgaged', Gareth, being a singleton in the UK, would still be living with his parents, or, at best, in a share-house with the likes of the Ogg Monster, Jimmy the Perv, and Fishfingers.

No real-estate for the likes of him. Blame the usual suspects, Gareth, sorry Blowie, THEM!

PS - You travelled much Turkey ?

I think Turkey liked the Lynch quote cause, well it's a quote from someone he assumes has a much grander intellect than himself so any offering must be taken as a blessing.

Operating under the duress of a very strict and immobile hierarchy of intellectual respect is our Turkey.

Close but no cigar, Blowie, regarding Lynch. He's not an 'intellectual'. He's an artist. And in American cinema, any cinema, that is a rarity.

In fact, I'd go so far as to offer that his work explores the areas of consciousness where the 'intellect' struggles.

It's weird shit. Enjoy...or not. I think it's been posted before?

Downer missed getting the preselection for the seat Tim Wilson (another IPA stooge) won for the conservatives at the last election.

Thought it was brilliant when Naomi Klein called both downer and paterson out for being IPA stooges.

Have heard Downer speak several times now, have to agree she is most underwhelming for the neo-con cause.

Want to read James Paterson's bio ... has only ever worked for the IPA and a conservative politician in the US as well as working for a time for a Liberal pollie .... now he has the front to speak about the aspirations of ordinary australians .... wouldn't have ever met one.

And lets all remember the IPA was started my Murdoch's father and is a secret undemocratic organisation accepting donations from "faceless" businesses like the big tobacco, mining and banking sectors.

And the right criticise the ALP for its links to unions while accepting financial and political support undemocratic secret business lobbies ....... spare me.

Yeah, comrade, yeah. So, David H Koch, confused much or what? Alex 'Demon Hillary' Jones?!

That bloke second down on the left (he'd hate that!) is the Trump's campaign CEO: Steve Bannon. He is also the Breitbart publisher.

Remember that TL:DR article I posted waaaay back (yesterday):

Unable and unwilling to erode Trump’s populist base with meaningful economic reforms, the Democratic Party [Clinton] has resorted to tarring that base as a deplorable, white-nationalist hoard. They hope that the specter of fascism will scare enough decent conservatives away from the party of Trump. But it’s equally possible that this tactic will encourage a redefinition of the still murky alt-right/alt-lite boundary around the broadest possible substrata of the conservative base.

With both Breitbart and the threatened postelection Trump TV, Bannon is certainly poised to expand his army of the aggrieved. He is looking ahead, steely eyed and well prepared, to a dystopian future of massive unemployment and parochial divisiveness, ready to marshal the energies of any and all downwardly mobile American patriots disenfranchised by neoliberalism’s corporate caucus.

Magazine profiles and public-speaking introductions often point out that Bannon dresses down, offering a laconic, El Duderino-vibe behind which runs the machine-tooled brilliance of a military mind.

“He was constantly telling stories about great warriors of the past, like Attila the Hun, people who had slain empires,” a former president for Universal Pictures and former business acquaintance once said. “It’s one thing to be interested in the triumphs of military history, it’s another thing to obsess over them. Victory at all costs is a dangerous way to look at the world.”

But is that how Bannon views the world?

Here he is in his own words. “I’m a Leninist,” Bannon boasted. “Lenin wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too.”

“I want to bring everything crashing down.”

Yes, yes, tremendous article. Tremendous in word count that is. Factual and well documented, I like your infowars approach, just spill the beans and expose em all.

Now what is Dylan Roof's role? I'm guessing he was bannon's 'sergeant at arms' was he? Surely somewhere in that word count you've found the connecting dots. I mean, do you even conspiracy theory?

let me see now, an IPA stooge, or a union stooge that wants to bleed the country's treasure dry. Which would I rather have? With 60% of the ALP being union stooges, Floyd you should call yourself Shemp.

As to gobbler, you are an A-grade twisted reject. Rather than focus on an advisor to Trump, lets focus on the two contenders.

Your patsy has done deals at the expense of the US with Putin.

Your patsy decided to remove Gaddafi.

Your patsy has done nothing to stop ISIS but has supplied arms to Al Queda groups against an elected president in Assad.

Your patsy has allowed sales of oil by ISIS so that they can continue to fight.

Your patsy let an American Ambassador die and then lied to the country and the families of the dead.

Your patsy supported NAFTA which has ravaged US industry.

Your patsy has sat there and put more people on foodstamps - 26million in 2007 to 46.7million in 2013.

Now if we then turned to look at the advisors - Podesta is front and center in corruption for the Clinton Foundation.

Podesta suggested that all e-mails be burned when the private e-mail server was found.

Podesta had something on Sanders that he used to blow away his candidacy.

Podesta has written questions for CNN to ask Trump.

Podesta has helped Clinton make up stuff like being under sniper fire while arriving at Sarajevo ( actually on film being greeted by a young girl on the tarmac )

I wrote all that because I know you are as thick as a brick.

Actions, versus words.

Now if you still haven't got it.Trump said some bad words - who hasn't said that! But Billy boy Clinton actually acted. In fact, he took 20 flights to Lolita island 6 flights for Hillary.

Actions, count far louder than words. All you have is innuendo based on made up stuff. That's all the left ever has.

"let me see now, an IPA stooge, or a union stooge that wants to bleed the country's treasure dry. Which would I rather have? ...."

disco, so you would prefer your members of parliament to be former employees of an ultra conservative "think tank" whose purpose is to represent conservatism in all its forms and the interests of big business; an organisation the is funded secretly by big business and multi millionaires. Try to find out who funds them or who are members disco; impossible ........ now you comment on the role of unions in the ALP ......... well yes, most unions and the ALP have (or should have) the same common goal ... Unions are also open organisations that you and I could join if we wanted and their funding is well known and their goals and aspirations are equally known.

Yes, Hilary is a crook..... But she aint of "the left"..... The democrats lurched dramatically to the right under old Billy boy, just as labor lurched to the right under Rudd/Gillard/Rudd.....
So we've got her covered....... Now lets look at Trump....
Confirmed Racist via court circa early 1970s...
Confirmed hypocrite via the use of chinese steel...
Confirmed hypocrite via cash in hand immigrant Labour...
Bankruptcy 1 - Taj Mahal 1991
Bankruptcy 2 - Atlantic City casino 1 1992
Bankruptcy 3 - Atlantic City casino 2 1992
Bankruptcy 4 - Plaza Hotel New York late 1992
Bankruptcy 5 - Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts 2004
Bankruptcy 6 - Trump Entertainment Resorts 2009

So...........
Both candidates are morally bankrupt....

In the "Trump" thread, Sypo asked me who would I choose in a 2 horse race....... After several days of thought, choosing either would leave the taste of shit in one's mouth.... As much as I enjoy chaos and stirring up the "elite", as much as I entertain the thought of voting for Trump just to throw a spanner in the works, there is one thing I can't get past...... And It's not even Trump himself.... Trump and Clinton cancel eachother out in my eyes...... So I have to look further... I have to look at their running mates.... Now there is NO WAY in hell that I would want an evangelistic evolution denying total christian nutcase as the second most powerful person in the land..... Mike Pence is dangerous, more dangerous than Trump imo....
For that reason, I would vote to keep the status quo, Clinton, knowing the reps' will control congress, keeping her in check. And I'd feel unclean doing it, but not as unclean as I would feel handing Pence the keys to the vice president's office.
End of rant.
