To the photographers out there. My wife loves taking photos and has thousands, but she needs a decent photo storage and editing program or strategy.
The computer says the storage space is full. I'm of no help as I'm not into photography, so can anyone suggest how she can move forward into the world of picture storage and editing with less headaches.
Cheers Ash

Using Lightroom is handy for cataloging, editing and sorting while also rating photos. Deleting the duds.

And move to a cloud based system too, get it off your local machine.

Cloud storage is okay but portable flash drives are relatively cheap and safe for storage. Agree with Craig that Lightroom is a good file management tool but there are free ones and your wife should have got some
software with her camera. It will do all of the above.

She uses her flashy phone mostly as it can take great pics. The gpod camera is sidelined because her phone is simpler to use and always with her.
Will pass on the recommendations and thanks

Haha, okay, should not have presumed. Cloud storage for sure then. Time and patience required for file management, best option will depend on phone form, Apple or Android. Sorting software exists but I don't use it.
