blindboy, that link above should be compulsory reading for anyone who is interested in the facts and truth about Trump. For the rest, it's just Fake News.

Trump
Trumpet
Trumpeter.
Its in his name
He's a Trumpet blower.
He loves to blow his own trumpet and tell us constantly how fucking fantastic he is.

I don't hate him .....hate.....I think the right have that one covered.

The more I read and the further along this presidency travels, the more I dis like him.

What I do find likeable is how consistently he proves his entertainment value and reassures the world that he is still a fuckwit.

Addressing the UN General Assembly, President Trump asserts that his administration ‘has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country’. The delegates burst into laughter. ‘So true,’ he responds, and they laugh even louder. (The Twittersphere immediately produces a Trump tweet from 2014: ‘We need a President who isn’t a laughing stock to the entire World. We need a truly great leader, a genius at strategy and winning. Respect!’)

Focus.....I'm not whining about previous administrations.
I'm pointing out the double standard continually being applied by his critics.
You are all just so upset and I'm only trying to help.
Clinton was protected by the same media that is trying to lynch Trump.

Without Andrew you probably wouldn't have Donald...

Interesting read

The real reason the Left hate Donald Trump

I like this bit

"For now, though, the left’s only issue is “We hate Trump.” This is an instructive hatred, because what the left hates about Donald Trump is precisely what it hates about America. The implications are important, and painful.

Not that every leftist hates America. But the leftists I know do hate Mr. Trump’s vulgarity, his unwillingness to walk away from a fight, his bluntness, his certainty that America is exceptional, his mistrust of intellectuals, his love of simple ideas that work, and his refusal to believe that men and women are interchangeable. Worst of all, he has no ideology except getting the job done. His goals are to do the task before him, not be pushed around, and otherwise to enjoy life. In short, he is a typical American — except exaggerated, because he has no constraints to cramp his style except the ones he himself invents."

He is now more popular than Obama was at the same point in his presidency.
This is despite the tsunami of fertiliser directed straight at him.

400,000 have crossed the border this year.

Republicans are for control of the border.

"Leftists are wrong about everything because they have lost their minds."

I don't think they are wrong about everything and i think those on the right are wrong about just as much all areas of politics are.

I think those on the left are just a little bit idealistic and often want their cake and eat it too.

For instance in the case you mention, its more likely they are worried about the human rights of these people crossing the border and might say well we can take 400,000 no problem.

But then don't consider the 400,000 behind them and other issues.

It's strange because sometimes they can't look at the bigger picture but then in other areas like Climate change than can look much further into the future, where the right can not.

No ones perfect i guess.

Just off the top of my head, things like human rights, women rights etc

It's just they bang on about these things too much sometimes especially the identity politics thing LGBTQVXYZ

Climate change is an important issue, it's silly for the right to just go against it because the left are into it. (although I'm not 100% convinced but hey it's not going to hurt us caring for the environment anyway)

I bang on about certain issues on here and might come across quite right wing at times to the lefty's, and yes I'm an Andrew Bolt and Steve Price fan and i even subscribe to the Australian (thats a joke) but i have no problem with the paper.

But really i think each party has good views/ideas/policy and crappy views/ideas/policy.

Personally I've just given up even voting, i just get my name ticked off and put the thing in the ballot box, because i like some things about liberals, social issues mostly and then labor well i think they are more likely to look after me, as an every day average Aussie as an average to low earner.

Westofthelake's picture
Westofthelake Thursday, 25 Oct 2018 at 4:14pm

blob, I found something especially for you;

When I was a little girl, everything in the world fell into either of these two categories: wrong or right. Black or white. Now that I am an adult, I have put childish things aside and now I know that some things fall into wrong and some things fall into right. Some things are categorized as black and some things are categorized as white. But most things in the world aren't either! Most things in the world aren't black, aren't white, aren't wrong, aren't right, but most of everything is just different. And now I know that there's nothing wrong with different, and that we can let things be different, we don't have to try and make them black or white, we can just let them be grey. And when I was a child, I thought that God was the God who only saw black and white. Now that I am no longer a child, I can see, that God is the God who can see the black and the white and the grey, too, and He dances on the grey! Grey is okay.

ID mainstream media (who are not left they are businesses) certainly criticise Trumps language and behavior, the word hate has been weaponised by his supporters as a label to throw at any one who dare criticise Trump.

Lets face it Trump and his cronies serve up truck loads of material every day.

The pipe bombing thing is really weird how Trump supporters are claiming any thing but them being responsible.

Factorum all I see in that article are two sides taking the higher moral ground and denouncing any chance that it was their side who did something wrong.

For me the best thing is to wait for the truth to emerge before pointing fingers, or pointing at people pointing fingers for that matter. This is the source of the division IMO.

Like i said above it's either exactly as it may seem like most things are.

Either:

A crazy Trump supporter that isn't too smart that is only doing more damage to Trump and his party than anything.

Or a crazy anti Trump person trying to further discredit Trump and his party.

Which is really not that far fetched.

Like Yocal said lets just wait and see before pointing fingers.

There's a radical thought... very 1990s ...

Either way, chances are it's an overzealous looney trump supporter. The only surprising thing - considering how the media and their associates have been behaving - is that it's taken so long for something to happen...
