Bought a Vissla the other week and I've noticed I get quite a bit of flushing up the ankles and the dreaded 'elephant legs'. What's the best way to prevent this? velcro straps? Holes in the calves?

Remember reading that a few holes [ 6] punched thru the calf area with a very hot knitting needle....pushed thru from the inside ..so that it burns/seals the rubber and nylon lining as it goes thru.

Hi Thommo84, I get the same thing happening, same brand.
What do you think is causing it?
"Remember reading that a few holes [ 6] punched thru the calf area with a very hot knitting needle" - I've read the same thing udo, but I wonder how the water can escape if the legs are under water a lot while sitting and even paddling? I've only ever seen the holes up high around the zipless entry point.

Take them up so that they stop just above the ankle.
