Recap

Good fun kick in S/SE groundswell yesterday, a little ahead of schedule while today the swell was continuing to a clean 2-3ft across open beaches, with bigger sets at south swell magnets.

This week and next (Sep 10 - 18)

The S/SE groundswell seen the last couple of days will fade through tomorrow, but we should still see 2-3ft sets through the morning, smaller into the afternoon and tiny Friday.

Winds look great with offshore W/NW breezes tomorrow, strengthening from the NW Friday.

Come the weekend there's nothing significant on the cards with offshore winds and tiny amounts of swell Saturday, then strengthening N'ly winds Sunday kicking up a small N/NE windswell for Monday.

This only looks to reach 2ft across north-east swell magnets, with the fetch generating it Sunday night being limited in longevity. Conditions will be bet late in the day as morning N'ly winds tend NW later in the day.

From Tuesday we'll see the storm track fire up through our southern swell window, with an initial spike in S'ly windswell Tuesday due to followed by subsequent pulses of S'ly groundswell Wednesday through Friday.

Size wise we're probably looking at sets to 3ft across south facing beaches with improving winds, but we'll have a closer look at this on Friday.
