Best Days: Late morning Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning

Recap

The surfs bottomed out across the coast the last day or so and there's no decent swell now due until next week.

This weekend and next week (Sep 13 - 19)

The surf will remain effectively flat through the weekend, but come Monday a small spike in S'ly swell is due.

This should be generated by a low pushing up past the south-east corner of the state Sunday with south facing beaches due to reach 2-3ft into the afternoon Monday. Winds will be funky but OK though with a variable tending E/SE breeze.

The low will stall to our south-east through Monday and this should continue to provide 2-3ft waves across south facing locations into Tuesday before easing back from 2ft out of the S/SE Wednesday.

Winds should be more favourable Tuesday with a W/NW tending variable breeze Tuesday and then W/SW tending fresh S'ly winds Wednesday.

A secondary low pushing up past us through the second half of next week may produce a stronger S'ly swell for us, but the models are still divergent on the make up and intensity of this system. Check back here on Monday for the latest on this though. Have a great weekend!
