Snapper Camera - Angle

the Snapper camera is frustrating because it spends so much time in no-man's land between Kirra and Greenmount. It's OK when the swell is averaging over 2 metres and hits wider banks, but most of the time it's not. Maybe sacrificing the Kirra end of the camera's pan and just following the Snapper-Rainbow-Greenmount bank would be better value.

I'd have to agree with WaterJ a better angle on Snappers, Rainbow would be a better indicator in most swells

Thanks for the feedback guys. We've had the same Snapper angle on the camera for the last seven years - I think the current situation is related to the existing bank setup (which doesn't look too flash, from what I've seen).

I've just changed the view so that it's looking at the Snapper end 100% of the time - but we'll have to remember to switch it back once the swell picks up.
