A lovely warm cuppa of 'Earl Grey' and some crumpets with jam on, after that session.
You know what I mean....!

Nah welly, a few ales in front of the fire at the nearest pub followed by a roast dinner is usually the go.

A very tame wave easy to ride but HELL! Give anything to have a long long session on this left I am sure after 10 long waves my paddling arms would fall off. It looks so much fun. Come on where is it Swell net. Is it Ireland or England west coast?
sidthefish, 1395644942
It's Fistral Beach, forsure.
upnorth, 1395645140
On the subject of the sunny UK, under surf reports South East and North East Scotland could do with a tweak, some of those places aren't there eg Isle of Wight (that's how it's spelt) is off the south coast of England.
trippergreenfeet, 1395650946
After a bit of googling images and checking out a couple of FB pages, I think it's the Bude Bay / Millook Haven stretch, looks to be the same geography and shoreline as in the footage.
The point at Fistral is a different kind of strata.
Millook

Love the gumshoe work, TGF. Tracking down a wave that's on the other side of the earth, that you'll probably never surf, just because...well, because it looks good.
upnorth, 1395653264
Jeez way to name a surf spot, flight centre will be over run tomorrow!
trippergreenfeet, 1395657076
Couldn't think of a better way to kill the last half hour of my work day.
trippergreenfeet, 1395657577
One thing I found on my search, this place is definately no secret spot. Its a well known novelty wave in the region, with the last conditions like this being 2011.
Not exactly the kind of joint that gets average joe frothing to make the long journey.
wellymon, 1395657692
Nice way to kill the last half of an hour at work TGF.
Don't forget that flying thing that you're controlling in the air tho.
Nice Reconnaissance :)

Grounded at the moment, playing with big train sets instead, choo choo.
upnorth, 1395658422
Indeed, it's no secret, that was an attempt at humour. Besides there's a fair few Aussies in that neck of the woods already.
Good work tracking it down though.
trippergreenfeet, 1395658794
I knew ya weren't having a dig...SW, we need emoticons.
I found some of the YT comments ironic, calling to not name the joint when crew are all over it.
wellymon, 1395659615
Thats gold.
Cotton wool.
I still laugh hard at that one.
geezer, 1395660286
looks like lyn……
boulders to me
great protection from wind
bigger the better
pub guiness needed after icy waters??
geezer, 1395660499
north of devon
mickj, 1395666127
It def ain't Millook, I've surfed there ... This joint is a lot longer.
And less swell exposed as well I'm pretty sure, Millook woulda been big this day
ol55, 1395695356
Your correct its not Millook. this place has a left that goes for as long as Noosa's points and Ive surfed it many times. Hell is walking out to the points over the round boulders, best thing is that the pub is at the end of it... and its does get really good to those who don't think its worth frothing...must have surfed on the novelty day or not walked enough and surfed the soft inside!!
Also Millook wouldn't handle the wind or the swell size.
ol55, 1395695644
I forgot to mention its sand bottom!!......
trippergreenfeet, 1395711110
Cool guys, nice to hear from the horses mouth.
upnorth, 1395743958
So stu or any other swellneters, what do you think about sorting the locations in your uk surf reports and forecasts? From a purely selfish point of view moving my home break of tynemouth longsands out of north east Scotland would be good, it's in north east England, If you need a hand rearranging the others that have gone for a wander I'm happy to help.
johpg, 1395796754
No drop-ins? What's going on?
ACB__, 1395803901
Literally a pack of shoulder hoppers...
Someone coulda been on that 5 seconds before that photo?! weird...
velocityjohnno, 1395806066
Drove past this one when not working, and jaw hit floor. "What a lineup," I mused. "Imagine it when it's on..."
No drop-ins as surfers polite? Generally speaking the other surfers I met there were all very welcoming. Tassie is the only other spot I've been offered a board to go out with a stranger.
