Ah that's fucked Roady. I'm a fellow traveller on that path, hang in there. Ignore the ignorant.

What things sound like are often nothing to do with what you want to interpret / hear ;);)
Next time there is an opportunity, choose to abstain (through choice and not mere problem solving) and try and observe ppl drinking in ‘moderation’…
Australian ‘moderation’ often involves a display of exaggerated self inflating heroics that are highlighted with bullshit tales of imagined brotherhood and romantic conquest.
Alcohol - with all its imagined ability to help create genuine social interaction - is a drug for fools with low self esteem ;)
Our culture celebrates and thrives on alcohol. People will be fuckwits regardless of it being consumed or not - but if you wish to see if there is something out there to further diminish your decision making capabilities - then alcohol is for you !
Consider the amount of damage alcohol reaps on society - drink driving, domestic violence, sexual assault - just to name a few…
Alcohol is not the cause - it is the conduit - and alcoholism is an absolute beast of burden ;);)
Consider life without it…
If that is gonna be a problem then you have the problem ;)But…
‘She’ll be right mate’ ;)
I assume you’re talking to me?
You’ve just described people that consume alcohol in the exact opposite way I do.
“ Next time there is an opportunity, choose to abstain (through choice and not mere problem solving) and try and observe ppl drinking in ‘moderation’…”
I do that from Monday to Thursday, there’s beer in the beer fridge those days, and I choose to abstain.
Talk about interpreting things the way you want…. ;)

Thanks, blackers. It’s a tough road, all the best to you.
My wife is over it all now, just 3 monthly checks and a few blood tests to check various levels.
She is alive today because of big pharma and the very generous first world health system we have in Australia.

Yeah that sucks, all the best blackers

Cheers guys.

I second that to you Blackers and also for the future improved health of Roadkill's partner.

Most of her diet is organic.
She must have done something wrong?burleigh, can you post up your green smoothie recipes and I can show her where she went wrong.
You've taken my point out of context again. What i was saying is our culture rewards drinking poison for hard work, where instead we should be nourishing our body to recharge.

On numerous occasions you have blamed health outcomes on diet. You have generalised and advocated diet as being a simple factor for a healthy life. It does not work like that.

You thinking diet is not a simple factor for a healthy life is extremely concerning but not surprising.
I’m obviously not commenting on your wife’s cancer because I don’t know you or her, but I’m glad she’s doing ok.

Nothing wrong with having a beer in moderation. My drinking rules are no alcohol from Monday to Thursday at all, then if I feel like a beer Friday, Saturday or Sunday I’m allowed. Doesn’t mean I have to drink or always drink on those days, just means I’m not allowed to drink on the other days
Nope, you’re wrong goofy, I just decided that it was no longer for me and I have seen what it does to my family member.
Seeming you have days when you’re not allowed to drink maybe you have the issues with alcohol.

Burliegh are you vegan? You have that holier than though attitude.

Really clutching at straws there burls.
If people choose to live an alcohol free life that’s unreal, just don’t preach about it and try to portray people who enjoy a drink responsibly as second rate citizens.
It’s no different than a vegan or vego thinking they are superior to people who eat meat. That’s great you’ve decided to give meat a miss, but lots of people enjoy it. So STFU about it.
Last bit not necessarily aimed at you.

Diet is hugely important as a contribution to a healthy life, however diet is just 1 factor, as is exercise.

I agree. Our lives are so consumed with chemicals even eating a healthy diet and exercise we are still exposed every singe day.
Sunscreen, detergent used to wash your dishes, washing machine detergent, whatever the fuck they spray cheap vegetables with, but don't let that stop people making healthy choices every single day.
Take control of your health, surf longer, get more waves and have more fun.

This is a health, fitness and wellbeing page. Im saying what gave me more energy and love for life. Sad that you feel the need to knock someone down for having a more positive outlook on life without alcohol.

I dont know if this will get me banned but back in my late teens i had a problem of not lasting longer than five minutes in the sack.
This may be obvious to other people on here and they may have not have had that trouble but what got me out of that rut was a "wank and strangle".
Every time you feel it coming on have a strangle of your knob, wait a few seconds and do this until a wank lasts at least fifteen minutes. After a while if you do it a lot you can last an hour in the sack.
You can also control when you finish so finish at the same time as them. Also go again a few times if your girls horny enough.Dont have much libido at the moment though and look at porn about once every three months.
As for surf fitness, well im struggling with that but ill try to get out there every time my local b or c grade wave breaks in clean conditions. A good diet, exercise and surfing every time it breaks, paddling against the strong current should get me back to surfing ok.
