BD - there's a well know tactic which has ripped our fight against climate change to shreds - its called doubt and debate.

Even after multiple trials, interrogation and approval by national heath and disease bodies (all around the world) - there's still people screaming out for further debate and testing? See an issue there? Science is never complete and as with many things you need to act with the best information and intentions you have at hand.

Anyway, public and open debate doesn't suit science. You need time, trialing, studying, assessing etc. to reach credible outcomes.

Any idiot can come in after a study has been competed and ask 'what ifs'?.

It's a known tactic by discredited, outspoken scientists, and its the fucken lowest of the low.

(p.s. I'm with VL on this one, sending a rebel news link is shameful!)

I'm not watching the video blue diamond because clicking that link helps the biggest pack of scumbags on the planet generate revenue. Rebel News are just a pack of racist grifters who have jumped on the Covid misinformation train because it's good for their bottom line.
Like fuck I'd help dogs like Avi Yemeni and Tommy Robinson generate income. If you can repost the video on another source, or link the doctor's peer reviewed research I would have a look.
Like I said before, I go to credible sources. If these doctors are credible you should be able to find a credible news outlet publishing their video.

What a joke.
If these doctors featured on Rebel News had credibility it would take a 30 second google search to find a credible news source reporting their story.
BD has buggered off to bed saying he'd try and find it in the morning.
Zero credibility BD, just like the rest of you anti-vax clowns.

Errr...yes?

You mean the phases of trials which all the covid vaccines went through? Which was met with global acceptance by differing parties?

Look, I read you're from WA, insular AF. You do realise most places in the world were desperate for any form of protection as they watched covid tear through. Oh well...I guess what you can't see can't hurt you.

Also, to further my previous point, notice how people like Malcolm Roberts has jumped on the anti mandate/vax train? He was a avid climate change denier, kept banging on about empirical evidence etc. Now he's anti covid effectively. If that's not a red F'ing flag then I don't know what is. The types speaking out against this are merchants of doubt, and experts of rounding up the passed off idiots who are scared and confused.

Also, Vic is still humming along at 1000 cases per day, and R(Eff) is >1. They opened up too close to the peak of the wave.

Vic gov has stopped reporting exposure sites, d'oh.

WA lists Vic as 'extreme' risk, so I won't be getting to see my loved ones in a hurry. SA is the state to watch - newly opened to the East, high vaccination rates - wonder how the cases will progress?

I mean it only in the sense of the last 2 years BD. Borders slammed shut, essentially no restrictions, and barely a few hundred cases of covid since it began. Not really a place where people have felt the urgency to defend themselves, nor have health departments had to deal with covid patients. In terms of Covid, WA has been insular, and it's slow response to vax uptake makes perfect sense.

I live in Melbourne, and it's pretty clear why we quickly went to get vaxxed when we could. It's also pretty clear why the protests have a few more thousand people here. Lots of people have lost a lot, and are angry. Easily manipulated, ready to feel like they cam fight back against their oppressors.

Yep. Lifes definitely different in the West to Melbourne.
Fair enough Stok.
You make reasonable points and things worth considering.
I guess we both have our own perspectives.
Bummed for you there with the restrictions. I have alot of family and friends in Melbourne feeling the same as you. Got a text from another friend tonight in Melbs writing me off and cutting me out of her life because of my own personal views.
I get it. I'm not deaf. I'm not blind.
But my perspective has been shaped on my own 'critical thinking' from the very start.
Rightly or wrongly, i believe we're right at the edge here. I'm saddened to see humanity willingly giving away their freedoms. Its not about the vaccine. Sadly, no amount of evidence i post here will be accepted. Same arguments on both sides. Good luck either way brother. I wish only good comes your way and for us all.

MSM praise these Nation's High Vax rates...as to their 'escaping' the Covid Storm...(Fooling nobody!)

Crew can see Mass Vax 4mth Waning runs a WR Covid Timetable...{VIP card Glows on infection date}
As CDC / EU bosses said...Fighting their own Waning Vax is essentially their new priority.

Already 10-20,000 Booster Breakthrus in Israel > infection 'rate' is growing quick!
This Week > EU fast tracked Boosters for all Adults > around Risk priority.

Crew and world at large point to Kidz as #1 Spreaders.
Also note Vax Families @ 10 weeks, spread higher Covid than Unvaxed (Often cited UK Study)
Youth waning holds Ok to 4 months then nose dives to rock bottom 40% efficacy onward.
Meaning! Mass Vax now > You'd be in for a rude shock come 4 months from now...Kaboom!

School Rules
April 2020 -1% cases > closed EU 44/53 Nations Schools (vs) 2021 > 16% cases close 1 Nation's schools.
eg: (10-14yrs) Germany 2020 Easter 10/day > Xmas 150/day > 2021 Easter 250/day > Now 400/day

(Mixed - Changing) UK / Norway / Sweden...most inclusive or reactionary delays.

Now for a Blast of Cold Dry Air to spike Covid - Current Weather Map 'encapsulates' European Covid.

Just when you think you can pinpoint the cause of Euro Wandemic! Bang! A more Powerful argument?
This story is a year old but is more relevant than recent shortcomings...(Same was the case for Oz!)
https://www.statnews.com/2020/10/21/covid19-winter-dry-indoor-air-helps-...

Fast Forward to the here and now & witness a Perfect Covid Storm playing out before our eyes!
Simply look out the window & feel the Covid in yer bones...simple as that!
UK / Italy (Med) / France / Spain / Portugal lie outside the infection zone. (Sweden & Norway borderline)
Some Coincidence huh! That "ALL" current lower (less) Covid rising Nations are sunning in up!
The whole rest of Europe are caught inside a Continental sized Cytokinetic Covid Snow Dome! A wot!
Oh! One of those...durr!
https://www.rmets.org/metmatters/winter-air-masses-uk

Portugal / Spain / France / Italy / Sweden
All are Last to get a blast of ultra infectious Dry Cold Front
All share Highest 68% - 88% Kidz > Youth > Adult Vax
Albeit Spain & Portugal are slow on Boosters
Spain / Portugal also kept masks on Adults + School Kidz
Sounds like they'll escape the Euro shitstorm, but for the Elephant in the room...
Said nations were oddly, slowest to reach Vax Peak so now their Vax is waning & cases are spiking.
All these Nations were branded last week's "Hi-Vax Pinups" Now...One of Us! One of Us! One of Us!
Daily cases France 37,000 > Italy 14,000 > Spain 10,000 > Portugal 3,500 > Sweden 2,100

Quite Clearly these Nations lie outside the Snow Dome > Proving Vax Wane is the Biggest Monster.
Vax Wane went thru every Highest Vax Euro Trash Heap like Gastro...(Vax is our own worst enemy!)
How Bad!
UK now claim The Wane Crown (Since Freedom Day > 4.7m cases / 16,000 deaths)
They reckon they're on easy street with New Normal Brexit > cases soaring to 50,000/day. (Normal?)

World waited for experts to shirtfront the Virus...not concoct a bigger more horrific beast!
Downunder hesitant wrangled this Euro dashboard coz our Experts are asleep at the wheel, again!

no training vj, but heard many a reputable scientist make this point when delta was starting off ie. viruses generally evolve to be more tranmissable and less deadly... of course not always, but a general trait... an evolutionary feature apparently... infect more people, kill less hosts... virus utopia...

most interesting little points like this never seem to make it to the mainstream news... hard to know if it gets buried in the noise... its not shocky enough for your channel 7's and 10's etc... or... well, you know...

supafreaks video guy did a great little breakdown of the delta data when it first started up, and he showed exactly this point happening in countries like israel and peru ...but once again, the mainstream media seemed uninterested, for whatever reason...

that guy is good, I think you'd like his vids, he's big on teasing out the data. I forget what vid it was, but the guy is the prosperity network or something... maybe supafreak can point you in the right direction

Interested in how well Australia has handled the pandemic? It's hard to compare countries, but Florida makes an interesting case: similar population as Australia, western culture, but there have been much fewer restrictions, and vaccination rates have been much lower.

Australia population: 26 million
Florida population: 22 million

Australia Covid cases: 207,000
Florida Covid cases: 3.68 million

Australia Covid deaths: 1,990
Florida Covid deaths: 61,150

4 Corners covered this back in August (when the numbers were a little lower), well before the peak of the third wave which has been the most deadly.

Yeah I agree re: population density. It's hard to find an analogous country.

Point being: Australia is lucky, as it's broadly benefited from the effects of a decent Covid strategy. Florida is (I assume) at the other end of the scale (or, are there even more extreme examples?).

I think it's impossible to navigate a perfect balance (restrictions, vaccinations, travel etc) but a bit of global perspective is in order.

We all remember Ebola, don't we? Oh, that's right - most of us don't - because it didn't come to Australia. That looked terrifying... imagine living in an affected African country at that time? And the largest outbreak was only eight years ago (and it's still ongoing: "in July 2019, the World Health Organization declared the Congo Ebola outbreak a world health emergency").

Would be great if there was a means to ensure that the taxes paid for health ‘choices’ stayed in the health system though, not into general revenue. Same as drinking and gambling taxes.

Secondly, THE FACT THEYRE ASKING FOR A SCIENTIFIC FORUM/REVIEW ON CURRENT VACCINATION....WITHIN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY!!!! Has nobody actually worked that out yet? There has been no debate. They want a discussion to take place without government constraints to assess the hazards of a first time trial of an MRna vaccine. I dont know, is it just me or is this shit just bloody obvious????

I don't see the point on a forum or review on Covid vaccinations, the vaccines have gone through trials and we have hundreds of millions of people vaccinated, we know that although not perfect the vaccines save a large number of life's while the side effects are minimal and deaths from Covid vaccine very rare.

Yeah sure nobody knows the long term effect of these vaccines just like we dont know the long term effect of Covid, the reality is we didnt have time to put Covid vaccines through years of trials.

MRna research isn't a new thing from memory search goes back 25 years. plus there is also non MRna Covid vaccines for those with concerns on MRna.

Each to their own though people have a choice not to get vaccinated.

BTW. without researching all these peoples backgrounds its hard to know exactly how credible they are, lots of these types of people often have previous controversial views on things.

They already did something similar in Singapore (pretty much leaders on everything)

"Singapore government no longer footing the bill for unvaccinated COVID-19 patients"

The Singapore government will no longer foot the medical bills for unvaccinated people who are hospitalised for COVID-19.

Until now, the government had not charged any citizens, permanent residents or long-term pass holders for their medical treatment for the virus.
But under new rules introduced this week, those who are unvaccinated by choice will have to pay their own way."

If its media he agrees with reporting views he agrees with it's journalism and they deserve to be paid for it, even when it/s clearly just lazy click bait reporting like the rallies in Melb last week where everyone was painted as extremist because of the 0.1%

Meanwhile if it's media he doesn't agree with its not Journalism and they dont deserve to earn money they are just grifters.

So narrow minded."

Rubbish Indo Dreaming. There's some top quality journalism happening with Covid. The presentation of the data for deaths, infections, trends, vaccine rates etc is first class.
There's also highly specialised journos like Norman Swan and Casey Briggs delivering information that has stood the test of time. This is where I get my information from.
Where you are not seeing quality journalism is on YouTube, zero hedge, rebel news, bit chute etc. This is where the anti-vaxxer get their misinformation. When people like burleigh & blowin, spread this absolute bullshit on Swellnet, they are going to get called out for it.

Jeeze..Romania having lots of deaths. I think the church there and many others, whackO politicians were against vaccines and were discouraging people away from the vax. Vax hesitancy is very high…also, the health system is crappy.

Sri Lanka. Only 562k cases…yet 14k+ deaths. Wow

Romania has a vaccination rate of about 38%: https://graphics.reuters.com/world-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps/countrie...

(The Reuters covid tracker seems pretty useful, all the data in one place.)

This omicom variant seems more easily transmissible and easier to catch…but the effects are less. The SA DR who discovered it has said zero of her patients have ended up in hospital.

I don‘t know if that is due to their age or whatever..but we will find out over the next few weeks just what effects it will deliver.

I don't fear the pandemic because I'm double vaxxed and believe in statistics. Shortenism doesn't fear the pandemic because he's a cooked moron.

I'm happy with my choices.

Let it rip

I’m with Indo, this looks like a good turn.
Will there be a safer time than now to get natural herd immunity?

While ID may be right, I'd actually prefer listen to the medical experts, not some random bloke on SN with no medical training. Call me crazy, but that's how I roll.

VL, each to their own in terms of what pulls you out of fear state. If its the jab, then great. Just recognise though your perceived safety being outside of yourself and in the hands of a 3rd party, is a disempowering way to roll.

Its a bit like domestic violence cases where the traumatised victim repeatedly returns home. You've been back twice, will you back a 3rd time?

Some of us on here are your friends watching this destructive pattern your in but you aren't listening. IN fact you are standing up for your abuser.

You got this big fella.

Good morning indeed VL!! I take it you don't know how to use google yourself?
You have to excuse my delay, we are 3 hours behind here and all....
Firstly heres the link to the actual conference. How's your French? Oi??
The rebel website did the courtesy of translating it to English, but you won't look at it so oh well. I can't do more.

&t=3s
Here's a link to the home page of the group behind organising it.
https://reinfocovid.ca/
Here's one of the doctors that speaks during it.
https://ca.linkedin.com/in/ren%C3%A9-lavigueur-4b930248
If you're struggling with the French, just right click on the page and click translate and it will pop it into English for you.
The doctors there are all real, legitimate and either practicing currently or have retired but years of experience. Make of it what you will.
It's pretty clear to me, and not cherry picking information. This is the first time i've seen anything of it's kind of doctors actually coming out and speaking in public since the pandemic began. I'm only sharing medical advice, nothing more, nothing less.

I understand that’s how you roll and can see it’s because you’re not an empath. Maybe you don’t care that a few million Australians are on either a financial, emotional or educational precipice, but I do. I understand there’s a lot of moving parts to this pandemic. We are vaxxed. We’ve now crossed a line where we are starting to do more harm than good with lockdowns.

The last couple of years I didn’t personally know anyone who didn’t support the vaccine and lockdowns. Now I don’t know anyone who does support further lockdowns. The mood has changed and that’s because of the line we have crossed.
Common sense stuff

agreed shoredump.

I'd like to see Australia have the courage to keep taking forward steps towards normalcy, to keep following the plan here.

I think the changing in mood of the nation that you mention is reflected in articles like this: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-11-29/scott-morrison-covid-variant-omic...

One of the very few things I agree with beetroot head on:

""We can't just shut down every time there's a new variant, because there's going to be new variants, and they're going to continue on," he said.

"And, you know, the economy won't work and society won't accept it if we just keep shutting the show down.

"So I think there will be a sort of a tempered, sober approach to the assessment of what we do next.""
