Bajau. Gene expression. Awesome, deluxe field. The key to successful Personal Training. Because environment influence’s genes, yeh, but the bottom line, the crux, thoughts influence genes. Some hate the idea of that, with a vengeance. Just like some hate glutes, with a vengeance. Never, ever underestimate the power of conditioning. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story is the catch cry these days but. How else would they have founded the ozzies. Bit ‘a good ‘ol ‘science’ backing things up, always helps things along nicely. ‘What do you wanna back up? No problemo, you got the bucks, we got the back up!’

Titanium knees, no problemo! Really? Trained one last night. Bulge in a paddle pop stick. Glutes like a beanbag. Just chuck a titanium knee in the mix. The truth rules! ‘Ya quad’s like a paddle pop stick mate’. ‘Yeh since the op it’s lost a bit’. ‘Nah I’m talking about the ‘good’ one!’ ‘Ever heard of a glute?’ They always start out a bit bristled up. Who gives a fuck, the bristle down’s never far away. Surgeon and specialist got their new condos, doc got his referal fee, physio’s scratchin’ their heads, wallets bulging but. ‘They said...’ ‘If i don’t get more flexion soon and get rid of the swelling, they wanna cut me open... again.’ Never let the truth get in the way of a good story. ‘Mate they just cut ya open and belted a lump of titanium into you. Can you imagine that happening with no anaesthetic! And some knucklehead telling you no worries, you’ll be up and around in no time.’

I can fix it though, clean up the mess. Always do. Be a bit of bristling going on though. Never a problem.

Worst is when they want you to show them, and they’ll take it from there. South Park on roids. It’s a long time 45 years.

Never under estimate the power of conditioning, and the effects. Develop self reliance, like those bushman had, besides glutes.

But our culture never lets the truth get in the way of a good story. Swillnuts... fuck Richo and that fuck’n twinnie!

In light of this famous quote of yours ( in the words of the famous George thoroughood, 'You say 'em and I'll play 'em!), summing up the state of affairs, the genetic expression, in kango's give my threads (let out at the seams) back thread, this may get you bristling blinde, but I suggest, change that thought... debristle so to speak.

But, some hate it, I like being the out in front. i like keeping some distance, being out of sight of the lemmings, not that I have anything against lemmings, (or millipedes for that matter) each to their own! Yes, the invisible roots! Ban the fucking truth! Officials officially fuck the truth! Delete the fucker!
But the beat goes on, despite the ban!

‘Nature has always had its own special music, as A. Leokum poignantly wrote in the Fredericksburg Virginia’s Free Lance-Star:

“Did you ever walk in a forest and suddenly come upon a little brook bubbling merrily along its path? Didn’t it sound like music? When the rain pitter-patters against a roof, or a bird sings heartily – aren’t these like music?”

Let’s go beyond the suggestion that natural sounds are like music and suggest that all of nature is music. The Romantic composers frequently composed music in honour of natural sounds. Contemporary composers went a step further and used actual sounds of nature in their compositions.

http://decodedpast.com/when-did-music-begin/1274

Humans tend to believe that everything started with the first signs of human intelligence, with the first recorded events of human history. We could believe that music started with the caveman, or that the Book of Psalms (from Hebrew scripture as well as the Old Testament of the Christian Bible) were early examples of vocal music, and that King David’s harp was one of the first stringed instruments, which he used as accompaniment when singing the psalms that scholars believe he wrote.

If we look at the broader definition, however, as humans we really can’t take the entire credit. We did not create music. It has always been out there, waiting for all of us to discover, to appreciate, and to enjoy.‘

What, well, who if you like, was the first composer! ‘Fuck it/him/her, corse it/him/her are nothing... we can prove it! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story! Ban the fucker! It’s fuck’n history anyway! Richo didn’t win... even though he did... MR lied, so did them other stupid cunts... even though they didn’t! It’s officially officiall!

Whenever you check out any fitness website or magazine, buff and chiseled men and women stare back at you, toned, tanned and happy. Although many of those images are probably Photoshopped, it's clear those people have put in their time at the gym. Maybe they're on to something: Research shows that not only can weightlifting improve your body composition and give you a toned appearance, it can also improve your overall health and make you a happier person. Weightlifting can help you burn fat, reduce your risk of diabetes, prevent back pain and even help you fight depression...

Memory is a powerful tool, especially a developed one, and poses many questions re the study of 'mind', and brains. Here's one issue with science. Not to mention tangled webs... well, the connections, the mosaic. I mentioned this guy, Bruce Lipton, back in 2013, here.

https://www.swellnet.com/news/surfpolitik/2013/08/01/strange-beginnings

He had been espousing Tanzi's so called 'new science' for years before that. But at that stage he was miles ahead, and drove the scientific world into a gene frying frenzy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Lipton

Still, others were well and truly on to it, over 40 years ago. Everett, Levenson, Matthews. I spent some time with Everett, and became very good friends with Matthews. Matthews gave an astounding, confronting public memory demonstration once, about 40 years ago, and was attacked in the media and press as a fraud, magician and crook. Magicians knew how he did it, con men knew how he did it, except they didn't. He could teach anyone the techniques. I always thought how brave he was at the time. Now he's famous and successful. It was eye opening being around them, way back then. Levenson though, that's a real eye opener. Still not the most eye opening I met. There was one that even astounded them.

Of course there were more, back then, most subject to ridicule, and way, way before them.

'Science' would have a heart attack, or worse still, blow a gene, just thinking about them!

Memories. Tangled webs. Remember this famous quote of yours, not so long ago, blinde. From this very thread of the mosaic, re my link on protein and its effects on building and maintaining muscle mass and bone density etc, in the elderly?

'Crypto, the link on protein is interesting but would seem to me to be a lesser problem than obesity in that age group.'

Selectively interesting 'science'. Especially in light of this famous quote of yours, from the same link that I raised Lipton, tied at the waist with Lipton, so very long ago.

'Beyond surfing, we are all destined to get old and some of the main issues for the elderly are lack of muscle and bone mass. If you don't want to end your life in a wheel chair let me suggest regular weight bearing activity.'

'Et tu Blinde?'

Probably the most astounding encounter was Uplift of Lincoln. His ability to allocate and account for the multiple sets and repititions of the lifting of cast iron weights was compelling to witness.

His tenacity to lift heavy items within the cloistered and suffocating environment was all the more inspiring when one contemplated the inherent pointlessness of it all.

it has nothing to do with future generations looking back blowin. we already know today that outdoor activity is the optimal approach. but none of that has anything to do with spending a mere 45min in the gym 3 times a week doing nothing but compound lifts and ending up very strong. you wont look pretty i promise.

not only does lifting heavy make you strong, it prevents injury, burns calories, improves ROM, increases muscle density, bone density, posture, & a fair increase in testosterone increase too. and not to mention the serious mental challenge/fear you will face when the weight sitting on your back is trying to crush you into the ground.

pretty much all of which is needed as you age.

PS. you still get to go surfing too though you might add a few litres to your board.

carry on.

Oh dear, in a nutshell, poor blowjabber, yet another sleepless, clenching, zombie knight stalker. Like a lemming marching off the cliff. Despite Tanzi's warnings about lack of sleep, stress aka gene smashing, the swillnutting rules! The crippled cuffs just refuse to rotate! Again! Swillnutiing forever!!!

Still, never, ever underestimate the power of conditioning. With that in mind, this 'little blowjab's, in a nutshell, swillnutty 'tale' is easily, and very understandable.

https://www.swellnet.com/forums/wax/12736

Oh yes, and again, oh dear, and ingrained forever.

The drugs, the 'heavybag', the stand off, the harsh, surfee, limestone cowboy, bad boy words of fury, the fists of fury, the the broken nose, the 'red mist' through tears, the broken hand, the run up the 'beach', and of course the associated terror and hatred of gyms, and of enclosed spaces, into the safety of mummy's waiting arms... again. In a nut shell.

Genes, mind, the source? Results. Now science sniffing around. Blax will do it to 'em, every time. Back brace city! Wrong turn offs galore! Wash aways! Too hard chargers that can't charge! I never did see blowjab, not once, never, not even once, during all those years, those decades, day after day after day after day after day after day, year after year after year after year after year after year after year, when why, and how I liked, justa pristine, untouched, unmarked, raw boned, muscular, good looking ever lovin' big kid.

But I saw plenty, saw the best, saw world champs, legends. Including a legend, one of the most legendary ever, and a groundbreaker, ruling on a twinny, against the law! Against the oh so meek, official officials! Plenty ended up in my gym, even him, in my gym, in my shed. The truth is, I've lost count of the number of surfers I have kept in the water over the years, because of my gym. And people from all walks of life, who keep doing what they love, or who can even keep working, to keep living. And, there's more surfers next week too. Among the others. Over 60 years old, 45 or so years on the ball. Some hate that with a stinkin', wretched vengeance, despise and hate the very idea of it. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story, in a nutshell!

Uniforms. Gyms are awesome, being a PT is awesome. Uniforms. You see them all. I was there so, so long ago when the bronzed logies, and Rabs snuck in to the Adelaide Sports Science Clinic, home of the first Nautilus Equipment in Australia. No one else noticed. That evening Port's Mark Williams was there, along with Norwood's Neil Craig (and they still have all the books I lent them), Olympic great, Mike Turtur was there, Mr Australia was there, among others. All in their respective uniforms. The logies had dressed down for the occasion but, and they and rabs had their surfee attire on. Boardies forever! Yes, no one knew them, I did though, as they uncomfortably snuck about the place, nervous, unsure, but still in uniform. All they had to do was was break out of the uniform, the performance, and ask. 'Hey, we haven't got a clue about all this, but we want to give it a go and improve our fitness.' But the uniform, the ingrained unconscious pattern, the performance won easily. And they fled. To tell a story. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story. How can changing your shorts rule so easily. Surfees in basketball shorts, basketballers in footy shorts, bodybuilders in surf shirts, caps on the wrong way, wrong colours, wrong logos. feeling so uncomfortable. I see it daily. Behaviour, patterns, unconscious rules. A double edge sword. To change the expression of that, which includes the genes, I need to change their pattern. But, bottom line, that's their choice. Why the fuck would you choose to be unfit, injured, obese, unsure, stressed. Why hand it all over to the fag, the sugar, the drug, the grog. How can those useless things conquer so easily. We got 'science' but! Those bushmen had glutes for sure. Like the Nungas in the desert, the sparse regions. The Nigerians though, that's a whole different ball game, just like the Nungas in the lush regions, where our 'capital cities' just happen to be.

Science, results. Traditional Indigenous Australians, the oldest most successful Cultures, ever, ever, by fucking miles and miles. No others even come close. Around 700 different cultural groups, living as one, in many diverse regions. What a result! 'Science' did a number on them but. 'Fuck their results! They ain't fuck'n even human! Dumb fucks! Backward fucks! We can prove it! Except, we want what they got!' In a nutshell, all lies. Never let the truth get in the way of a fucked story!

I mentioned this other guy, that even astounded Everett, Matthews, Levenson and the like. I got to meet him, many times. He said to me, 'change your mind, change your life.' He knew how to do that too. Seems simple. And he would always add, but relentlessly ask, relentlessly, 'what is it that changes the mind'.

Sometimes I would remember talking to him, when I was sitting out at blax, etc, often alone, often with perfect swell, pure, clean ocean, pure clean air, the sun, the moon, morning stars, evening stars, fish, birds, the desert, often no footprints but mine. Often with moody blax too, the moods, watch out! And I met some deluxe people there. Day after day after day after day after day after day, year after year after year after year after year after year after year, when why, and how I liked, justa pristine, untouched, unmarked, raw boned, muscular, good looking ever lovin' big kid. I had a gym in town too, open to anyone. Why the fuck would you wish and choose injuries all over yourself. Each to their own. Swillnuts forever! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story! Glutes and self reliance rule! Those bushmen and women know that.

Wrong ... Parents are the first enablers, doctors the first street level dealer.

Ibuprofen is particularly bad ... ask any honest doctor and they'll tell you if there is one drug they'd like to see off the market it's this one.

Velocityjohnno, let's use science hall of famer, Tanzi, to satisfy the formally dismissive science club too.

“If you want to know what your thoughts were like in the past, look at your body today. If you want to know what your body will be like in the future, look at your thoughts today.”

― Dr. Rudy Tanzi, Super Brain

'you will always have the genes you were born with, but genes are dynamic, responding to everything we think, say, and do. So, we are the user and controller of our genes, the author of our biological story. And our everyday lifestyle and habits, whether good or bad, are changing our gene activity. If that’s not empowering I don’t know what is!'

Tanzi also says, in a video course he does, that if nothing else, the most powerful thing that you can do is notice thoughts throughout the day, and alter those which cause bad feelings/stress. Simple...

Of course others said that years, in fact centuries ago. And beyond. Despite the ridicule of science. And others have far more experience in how to do that best.

Despite some being at different starting levels than others, say like if considering deadlifts, there are still across the board truths. So one might be able to deadlift, one might have to learn other things first. But common denominators still apply.

First is, observe new born, and young babies. If you've been an involved parent, this will be obvious, even if the full ramifications aren't. Babies have built in, foundational, base, over ruling urges, drives. That get more and more ingrained. The urge to live/get food is obvious, and the urge to avoid discomfort. They vigorously let you know all about both, in no uncertain terms, until those drives are satisfied.

You always hear, 'go with the flow'. In this case, you must satisfy these base urges, or you are at war with your strongest, most ingrained drives. A tug of war scenario. Internal tension, internal stress. Say you know (physically environmental) sugary crap is bad for you. But you love it. However, because of its physical affects, you decide to stop having it. The common approach is, 'ok then fuck it, I'll limit my treats, and eat the fucking other shit then. But once a week I'll treat myself.' Let the games begin! Tug of war 101. The stress will show. So you change the thinking, the thoughts to eliminate stress, and begin to work on changing the pattern that you have programmed with sugary shit. You don't beat yourself up, adding even more stress, but you think about all the awesome things that eating good stuff means, and all the shitty things that eating sugary shit means. You swap labels, and go with the flow. You aren't shit, the sugary stuff is though. And you persist, watching your thought throughout the day, slowly but surely building a new, much less stressful, healthy pattern, and program, whilst the old one withers, and decays, until it is eventually replaced.

That's just the start. You can make that very basic tool, easily much more powerful and efficient, whilst eliminating even more stress. I have to go, but think about why kids learn to count easily, happily, in a 'Sesame St' style scenario, compared to a bash it into them, dungeon style scenario. Which is more stressfull? What would their thoughts be like in each scenario? That can be used in conjunction with the above. Also, what effects do emotions have on ingraining thoughts/beliefs? And Tanzi's dreaded stress?

Goofball, one egg at time. Work your way up. You wouldn't deadlft a dozen eggs, and cracking the shells would cripple you. That's another scrambled, flattened and fried egg for me.

Free, I'll try and answer later. I put stuff up ages ago, but I don't really like not being able to be with the person, when backs and especially deadlifts are involved, becauseof the seriousness, and every detail counts. But I expect certain levels in other certain exercises before i let people move to deadlifting which is one of the hardest exercises to master. I am extremely confident in that scenario, and know that nothing can remotely match one on one in person.

In the meantime, at the risk of being banned, or deleted, or swillnutted, I'll put this horrible, stinky, gene busting info up, to illustrate and back what I say. Plus it is pertinent to talking about gene expression, thoughts, patterns of behaviour. She is a client of mine, and is on the Anytime page, along with her comments, which I won't put, as they may be too upsetting for swillnuts in a nutshell. Despite just being from Lincoln, which also upsets swillnuts, in a nutshell, she also runs one of the most sought after business's here in Oz, and overseas. Poor google.

The ideal would be to catch up if you are ever back this way Free.

'This month’s Member of the Month, Summer, has a powerful story to tell. About 18 months ago, she was laying in hospital in Adelaide, in acute pain, being told that she could no longer lift weights, that she could no longer run, and that her physical lifestyle would be very restricted. She had severely injured her back, and was left feeling very down about her future. Summer came to Anytime Fitness, to try and turn things around.
She has succeeded in doing that with flying colours. Now she lifts more than ever before, runs, sprints, and carries out some extremely physical tasks as Owner Manager of Constantia Designer Craftsman. Summer realised that her previous techniques when training had contributed to and created imbalances and patterns which had resulted in her serious injury. So she set about learning and understanding new techniques, replacing old patterns and addressing weakness’s and imbalance. This is a very difficult direction for many fitness trainers, as they tend to do what is habit, and familiar, regardless of results, and injuries, and avoid addressing weakness’s, which feels foreign and hard at first.
Summer put in a real effort, and turned imbalance and weakness into strengths. She lifts more than ever, and trains much harder, but also much smarter. An inspirational result for all gym members. Summer also demonstrates in real life, that too much training, a previous habit, is detrimental to health and wellbeing. She also dramatically demonstrates the power of healthy, controlled eating, and the real power of persistence in focus, training and nutrition. The real ‘secrets’. She looks and performs like a much younger person, glows, and although she has fun in the gym, when the time comes, its 100% effort and focus. ‘Summer time!’
Congratulations Summer, you are a true inspiration and have really earned Member of the Month! You are an amazing ambassador for Anytime Fitness!'

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story! In a nutshell, ya charged too hard ya reckon, in amongst all that other drivel... but, bottom line, in a nutshell, ya didn’t go son. Blax gets ‘em, your lot, every time. That’s all son, ya had ya chance, but in a nutshell, ya just didn’t go son... ya just couldn’t go. That’s all. No reason to be ashamed. No one will bring it up... at the wake... in amongst all them other stories. Hey there’s an idea, I can sprinkle your ashes at blax if you like! But come to think of it the buggers would probably turn tail, find a good gust of wind and lob out somewhere near Wudinna!

Still, in a nutshell, brokeback chicken soufflé, never let the truth get in the way of a good story aye!!!

So deadlifts Free, which actually relate to Tanzi's thoughts control gene expression 'breakthrough', that others discovered ages ago.

Here's what I advise many people, for many not so obvious to the inexperienced reasons, to use when commencing deadlifting free. This particular size too. Here's the best one/best value. Unless they are really, really big people, then use the bigger model.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-Muscle-Motion-Commercial-4-1-2ft-Compact...

Here's also a classic example of the same things, looking more cutting edge, more advanced, breakthrough, more scientific, more sophisticated, but simultaneously demonstrating no idea, and rendering it next to useless, and an injury guarantee.

https://www.smai.com.au/products/trap-bar-compact?utm_medium=cpc&utm_sou...

I brought the first one's to Port Lincoln some time ago. A condition of me working out of Anytime, was that I be able to use my collection of hexbars there. Along with my custom built hanging/chin/dip rack and my carefully selected hyperextension bench. As per the previous gyms I ran and worked out of. The last two I use as measuring sticks re progression to other specific exercise progressions which eventually lead to deadlifting. Most fail miserably at the first steps.

Here's a good visual demonstration of the correct position for the lift.

Note front on foot position/angle, hip, knee, foot alignment. And side on posture/position. Still the verbal explanation is very rudimentary, and unsuitable, and leaves a lot to he imagination. To be honest, I've never found a video, or explanation that I would totally recommend. That requires much more information, in this case writing, and due to each individual's differences, is really best addressed one to one. But one point, I prefer shortening range for beginners depending on level, by lifting off raised steps under the weight, to perfect the idea, before gradually working lower and lower, and finally turning bars over to use lowest handles, fullest range. Because low is the position where most get into trouble due to lack of form/technique, lack of fitness/strength, and lack of mental focus.

I use steps similar to this sort of thing , 2 of them, 1 set longways each side, under the plates, which allows the person to stand between them.

https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1311...

I can use the small removable blocks to adjust step height, and will use up to 5 blocks plus step initial height if necessary. Particularly with elderly, and recovering/rehab from injury. The idea is to build up a decent strength level at initial height, then reduce weight and height, and commence at the next lower level, and so on, till working down to lowest level. Patience and persistence are key, as in adopting Tanzi's 'breakthroughs'.

On that note, it is interesting to note that science didn't bless us with the hexbar. No. The full, truthfull history is nothing like that. Despite it recently becoming a breakthrough technique, even with our beloved science now backing it! 45 years I've seen, and passionately, 100% focused and committed, learned about and experienced all this stuff. The googlers will find the powerlifter who 'invented the hexbar, and patented it. But see, the highland games utilized it, the idea, and made it known through the farmers walk contest. Farmers aye. Well, maybe not, because even those glute (sorry ben't and stup'e) endowed sods, the bushmen valued being able to lift and carry objects repeatedly. Well yes, I know, that can't be officially true, according to officials, because, well, where the fuck was Tanzi you ask? In a nutshell, never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

Here's the breakthroughs but (I've catered to the scientists too).

Anyway, a few claimers of note. Its a long time 45 years but. You see, hear and learn a lot, if you keep a look out for results, and ask the right questions.

At the risk of sending genes into stress overload, in a nutshell, genebusters mode, here's some stuff for you velocityjohnno.

Think about all that science pin up boy Tanzi and the like are on about. Really meditate on it. Stress they reckon. Highlighted below, outlined below, courtesy of the mighty, but despised with a vengeance bassoon. Who, through this never ending thread, despite its inventor being burnt at the stake, so magnificently highlights the success, the truth of our culture at being a guaranteed, perpetual and ever growing stress pumping crescendo! Forever pumping out little stress robots, little profit draining nuisances left, right and centre! Profit at all cost! Fuck the stress! Put 'em to work! Get 'm out of the workers hair (or scalps, not to discriminate against the follically challenged). Crackheads, ayahausca junkies, back braces and failures forever! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

https://www.swellnet.com/forums/politico/307178

Meanwhile, for the most successful Cultures ever, by miles and miles, a result not even remotely matched by anyone, it was a completely different ballgame. Boy, science did a job on them but! But, in the vein of the mighty, ever lovin' abbott's, wink, wink, we don't mind that too much either!

https://aifs.gov.au/cfca/publications/strengths-australian-aboriginal-cu...

'fark orf... the silly, backwards chimps was juz lucky! Plus they didn't have 2 cents two scratch their lazy arses!'

So, velocityjohhno, as you asked, and in line with all the above, here's some books that I would be happy to recommend to anyone.

Beware the attack of the genes! never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

Thanks for all of that CK, it will take a little time to go through it all. I've discovered some of the power of meditation, yoga and faith. No need to go back to that stressful life beyond responsibilities to generate some income. Most challenging was a fellow who asked me "Why?" we have to achieve anything at all beyond breathing and observing here & now. Go with the flow. Flow on the wave.

Giving up sugar in drinks was easy (it's where else it is hidden in food that is the challenge, next step is a path like in the book "Deliciously Ella" where she heals herself of something that resembled chronic fatigue using wholefoods.)

I liked the idea that the body of today is the thoughts of the last few years, that's quite profound.

I am aware of the reduced workload required by indigenous society - to eat for the tribe for the day iirc it would take 2 hours by a couple of the hunters, rather than 8 hours of every working age adult... No mortgages...

And the best learning is always play, if I can turn my business into a game I have a great time, rather than if I make myself do it as a chore.

With deadlifts, and gym in general, any stories of it curing disease? Or rather is it to strengthen and straighten us? Yoga has been beneficial and incorporates faith and body.

Massive subject, infinite! One that depends on your viewpoint velocityjohhno. A long time ago, because of all my interest and passion in the likes of Tanzi's 'breakthrough', I learned that my specific style of workouts, that I was developing, had a certain effect, beneficial for me, as well as my clients. I am honestly booked out, with people literally pleading for sessions. My accountant who handles many big business's and some 'famous' trainers across the country, is always blown away how I have no website, no business model, no advertising budget, yet am fully booked, year after year (admittedly a crumbling society ensures an endless stream of clients). I didn't even have business cards, so the gym printed them and hands them out, which is a headache, as I tend to want to help, know I can, and end up doing too many hours. I say this evil, swillnut bashing abuse above, in a nutshell, at the risk of swillnuts gene's imploding, because I know my workouts are so different. I talk and lead my clients through every minute detail, and create maximum focus on each instant, without them realising. Prolonged maximum focus, on minute detail, is a powerful meditation, which allows all the other baggage fall away. Most people's minds never get much of that, as their minds are running berserk, all over the shop, continually. I see it all day in the gym. That most basic form of meditation is extremely restfull, releases stress and the client wants more, unconsciously. Its one of the beneficial, addictive things about surfing too. But unlike surfing, it balances out imbalance, heals and strengthens the body, rather than create weaknesses and imbalance. Also, its one thing to say that you talk your clients through every minute detail, but the detail must be productive too, and work with the literally infinite scenarios and clients. Or, bottom line cells suffer. Stress.

So, I don't focus on healing specific diseases, that is beyond my scope and expertise. But I know I am good at keeping cells happy, I have ample proof, over ample years. But then:

'no physician in the history of humanity has ever healed a patient. Only the cells of the patient can heal the patient. Only cells know how to close wounds, understand what to do with insulin and how to destroy pathogens.'

http://www.basic.northwestern.edu/g-buehler/vision.htm

Disease is interesting though isn't it. Dis-ease. Tanzi and co. Stress. Cell communication. Cells. The roots, more than meets the eye.

http://sondrabarrett.com/2017/02/05/cell-intelligence/

https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20627571-100-the-secrets-of-intel...

Those unmatched nungas. They 'communicated' with the 'environment', their mother.

As tanzi highlights, happy cells go a long way, so, at the very least, that can only promote healing, not hinder it. Don't forget about nutrition either. I have to go.

'Dr. Tanzi has published over 500 research papers and has received the highest awards in his field, including the Metropolitan Life Foundation Award, Potamkin Prize, Ronald Reagan Award, Silver Innovator Award, and many others. He was named to TIME magazine’s 2015 list of TIME100 Most Influential People in the World, and received the Smithsonian American Ingenuity Award, the top national award for invention and innovation.'

Imagine the flood of excitement, when Doc Tanzi, the big gun, numero uno, science pin up boy, breathlessly burst out of the lab, and cried out,

“If you want to know what your thoughts were like in the past, look at your body today. If you want to know what your body will be like in the future, look at your thoughts today.”

Imagine the excitement, the flood of joy, as the naive kid, Doc Tanzi, thinking something like,

'So, we are the user and controller of our genes, the author of our biological story. And our everyday lifestyle and habits, whether good or bad, are changing our gene activity. If that’s not empowering I don’t know what is!'

turned the scientific world on its head, binned it, and hurled forth the facts of life! Sure, he took a while to get there, but in the end, as he pointed out, its the thought that counts!

Poor Doc Tanzi. In a nutshell, the sneering audience, durrie in one hand, ale in the other, half eaten sugar bowl, empty sack of ayahuasca laying on the table. Backs twitchin', shoulders rippin', rotators throbbin', aching necks pencilin', hairs charged with desertion, guts expanding, glutes and quads in hidin'. Knee replacements bulging. Hips lying. Justa enjoyin' life ta' the full!

Its not really what they wanted to hear Doc. In a nutshell, never let the truth get in the way of a good story!

No Doc, not great news for the swillnuts! Well, sort of, but, seriously? In a nutshell, big fucking deal! Its not the wounded swillnuts fault! Couldn't you have come up with a fucking button, a button that would just make it all go the fuck away! Or a fucking pill? Or a new fucking strain of ayahuasca? Or a full body replacement! A fucking chart even!!! Some sort of techno brace!!! Or a titanium highchair ? Or a beer that thinks healthy things for swillnuts? A thought enhancing durrie? Couldn't you have pulled ya finger out, and just invented some sort of swillnut friendly, exciting, 3 minute fucking gizmo or routine Doc Tanzo!!!??? Instead of this boring, no excuse shit!!!

“If you want to know what your thoughts were like in the past, look at your body today. If you want to know what your body will be like in the future, look at your thoughts today.”

A bit late, but better late than never! That explains everything! YYYYEEEEWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

What else can ya say... bit late, but love ya work Doc!!!

Double YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a point of clarification here. Your thoughts arise in your brain, which is part of your body. Many infants suffer illness, disease and death before they are even capable of any recognisable thought. What influences their genes? Oh yes, the external environment, and this continues to influence us through out our lives in ways over which we have no control. So Dr Tanzi, living as he does in an environment in which he is not only physically protected but one in which he has also achieved high status, can no doubt state categorically that his body reflects the power of his own thoughts. Those born in less propitious circumstances, on the other hand, may find it hard to achieve his standard of all around excellence as they were poorly nourished, emotionally and physically, as children and grew up in neighbourhoods with few opportunities. But, bugger that for an excuse, they just thought wrong, they neglected the power of positive thinking. You talk frequently about indigenous disadvantage, is that where they went wrong? If indigenous people had just thought positive, then they would have overcome all that disadvantage. Not what I think but exactly where your current line of thought leads. Moderation mate. Yes positive thinking helps, but it is very very far from the whole story.

Poor Doc Tanzi!!!

Et tu Blinde?

Tough pills to swallow. Big place space, cosmos, all that stuff, and beyond all that stuff, stuff beyond human comprehension, and so on. But blinde, that's a separatist, western (we know the whole farkin' trufe, and we'll beat it inta ya's), sugar and bullet coated viewpoint. Like an ant thinking its raining and the reality is its just someone having a piss over the bushes. Other cultures who already understood Doc Tanzi's viewpoint, think much differently. Totally differently. Western 'science' fixed them too!

I told ya they wouldn't like Doc's breakthrough. As 'history' shows, not too hard for 'science' to gun him down! They done a job on bigger cunts than him aye!

What came before brains, thoughts, any experience of humans. Before space, cosmos, all that stuff, and beyond all that stuff, stuff way beyond human comprehension, and so on. Meditate on it! Just remember, the sugar, bullet encrusted pill is so tempting. There's deadlifts, and there's deadlifts. Different results too.

Doc Tanzi aye... who'da thunk it!!! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story! Gene busters!!!

We could learn a lot from the Nungas. Some are. They still open their door to us. Despite everything. Oneness, separatist, different ballgames.

Like Doc tanzi says, Meditate... on It. Go deeper. Not to worry. That's all.

What a good conversation, great points from all sides. So much information, thank you CK. My interest is piqued. Stress, stressful inputs - being taught to observe the stressor, observe the feeling - being taught a detachment from emotion, an observer's mind. Mindfulness. It is what it is. Mowing down a rail, putting the planer down and doing it by hand. The mind just stops and the moment is all there is. Every wave ridden, the mind is in this "record mode", there isn't any judgement.
Environment and external influence plays a big part of illness, agreed. Sometimes the cards you are dealt seem well beyond anything you can conceive. Bravo every time one of the influences linked to infant disease is identified and mitigated. A religious interpretation of such unfortunate circumstance may suggest karma - not "you did bad to get this bad thing" but rather the karma for this lifetime involves going through this challenging experience.
Dr Gerson was recorded curing cancer in patients in Germany in the 1920s using organic juices and inspiring Rudolph Steiner(see: Julie Stafford, "Juicing for Health") - perhaps if we can return the earth to a far less polluted state, many more of us can have the health that is our birthright.

There's a sale on! Interest rates! Tangled webs ahoy! Like in the gym. Everyone is gonna! Some actually do! And of course it shows. Connect the dots.

Even Doc Tanzi, better later than never, says Meditate.

'What!!! As much intention and effort as I put inta me farkin' surfin'!? Are you farkin' crazy!!?? What's that gunna do... farkin' Tanzo's lost it!!! He's been hangin' around that farkin' Twopack Chakra's cunt too much!!!!'

everything is a meditation, so be still and be right here, right now-FULLY. Be a Holy Being, that is a Whole-ly Being. Then repeat this all day, every day with everything and everyone and your life will show itself to be the Sacred expression it really is, hallelujah baby, hallelujah-haha. enjoy your day.

Exactly. Its simple in a way.

A murderer meditates on murder. A rapist meditates on rape. The western world meditates on money, at any cost, above all else. Including the kids. And conquering all. The poor kids, the planet, nature, play second fiddle, for a fleeting moment.

Traditional Indigenous Australians meditated on something entirely different, so thought entirely differently. Saw through the veneer, went much deeper. Did their very best efforts in that direction. As Tanzi highlights, the thoughts produce a result. And a trail. To hand on.

The western cultures have a result and a trail too. To hand on. Poor kids. Why, why why!!!??? How much!!!??? Fuck that, too expensive, I mean, look at the figures, where's the profit??? Surf's up anyway!!! Sort of, can you afford the pool? Plastic islands rule!!! The thoughts produce a result.

Meditate, just be carefull with the target though. You can meditate on anything. What is it, that makes meditation possible. Go deep. Beneath the veneer. Always. Or don't. Choice, free will.

Like Tanzo's breakthrough (although others figured it out ages ago), says.

“If you want to know what your thoughts were like in the past, look at your body today. If you want to know what your body will be like in the future, look at your thoughts today.”

“If you want to know what your collective thoughts, your 'cultures' were like in the past, look at your planet today. If you want to know what your planet will be like in the future, look at your collective thoughts, your 'cultures' today.”

Here ya go kids!!! Spend up big aye!!! Because we farkin' luv yas!!! Hey, don't worry, there's plenty more planets out there!!! We got the bucks!!! We'll build a thermo plastic one!!! 3 for the price of 1!!! Its true aye, always on sale here!!!

Everywhere but to the point crypto. Total failure to address the issue. VJ in reference to curing cancer with juices etc. Save that knowledge for when YOU get cancer. Do not ever suggest it to a cancer sufferer or ever suggest that positive thinking will cure it. I had a colleague a few years ago who was diagnosed with bowl cancer. His medical advice was that with surgery and chemo he had an excellent chance of survival. Instead he went to some quack naturopath who put him on juice and meditation. He was dead in six months. Then there is the 'blame the victim' aspect of suggesting that positive thinking can cure the disease. When it fails then the obvious cause is that they didn't try hard enough. Do our thoughts influence our health? Absolutely and never more strongly than when we act upon them. Does science fully understand these effects? No. Should we rely on the advice of crypto and Doc Tanzi in a medical crisis? Absolutely fuckin' not.

BB who is this Cryptoknight character as I can never understand what he is saying? Sentence structure seems non existent as does any sort of understandable narrative. He seems to talk in point form with multiple exclamation and questions marks, and the topic is scattergun at the best of times.

'The most flagrant way a writer demonstrates contempt for his readers is by ignoring punctuation altogether. A close second is the abundant use of the exclamation point. Some writers even use three or more exclamation points, lest the reader not fully grasp the significance of what is being said.,To be effective, the exclamation point should be used in moderation.'

No doubt he will give me a serve, although it won't matter as I can't understand him.

So how may of those 500 papers involved research on the effects of thought on disease? I'm looking forward to the links. The opinions of scientists and doctors, outside their fields of expertise, have no more weight than those of a non-scientist.
