Torquay
Updated: Tue 3 May 1:32pm Surf: clean 3-4ft WSW Winds: Strong NNW Weather: windy Rating: 4/10

Afternoon report: The wind is even stronger this afternoon with white-caps to the horizon. Swell is starting to muscle up a bit though, fighting against the wind with rooster tails spinning off 3-4ft sets moving into swell magnets. Remember to put that extra paddle in.

Tue 3 May 7:49am: straight 2-3ft SW, Strong NNW, windy 3/10

2-3ft of straight swell lines however the strong, gusting NNW winds are a problem. High tide early with low around 1pm. Probably one of those days to keep a watch on things and hope the wind backs off thru' the arvo.

Tue 3 May 6:42am: clean 2-3ft WSW, Fresh NNW, fine 5/10

Dawn report: Clean good 2-3ft of swell continues across the coast this morning but the offshore is quite gusty and a little tricky at times. Beaches and reefs looking fun and the swell will build from here.
