Updated: Fri 29 May 3:26pm Surf: inconsistent 6ft SW Winds: Fresh NW Weather: partly cloudy Rating: 7/10

Afternoon report: The swell is in this afternoon but it's really inconsistent on the bigger sets and hitting some spots but not others. Easy 6ft+ across Bells/Winki when the big ones come and clean with this offshore wind. Worth a look around the coast for less crowded options.

Fri 29 May 8:00am: clean 3-4ft SW, Moderate NW, partly cloudy 6/10

The new swell has kicked in and while it's still a bit raw and a little wonky, there are great waves to be had at all the usual reef breaks. With the swell expected to increase and low tide about 1pm, it should be a great day for surfing.

Fri 29 May 6:46am: clean 3-4ft SW, Moderate NW, cool and cloudy 6/10

Dawn report: Lots of promise this morning, a new swell is building across the coast and it's only going to get bigger throughout the day. Right now the reefs are pulling in 3-4ft sets and winds are NW so it's nice and clean. Expect a couple of feet more by the afternoon. Check back for the updated photo report after 8am.
