On Saturday, while ten foot closeouts blocked the way for CT surfers at Peniche, twenty five foot teepees were being pitched at Nazare. The distance between the two locations is just 100 kms, which again highlights the rare bottom contours that make Nazare what it is.

From all reports the wind was funky at Nazare, aside from a brief window early morning, presumedly when Carlos Burle whipped into this beast.

Carlos holds a good line till he trips up on a ski wake. No idea what happened next. Keep an eye on upcoming edits from Nazare.
