Fun looking wave ,old Lance scored big time when he pioneered it .Anyway looks fairly easy at that size when its that perfect.

Looks fairly easy, yes. But if the average surfer was looking over the edge at the drop/coral....those boys make it look easy.

Easy with a bit of tide especially taking off near the cage, but when it's low tide taking of at the office if you fall it's dry reef.

As perfect as the waves are, i actually agree to much focus on the barrel and too short.

Personally i think the more important thing in regard to this contest is that it's now been shown that it's logistically possible to have a comp in the Mentawai's and send it live to the world.

Next step should be a Macaronis comp or even one day a Mentawai mobil event im sure it's possible now to beam live from a boat like Indies Trader 4 (or whatever it's called now)
