Oversize Teahupoo - video

More footage from big Teahupoo. Big enough for the PWCs to fire up and whip in the strapped lads, but worth noting is just how much the paddle bar has been raised. Waves once thought off limits are being attempted by the young Tahitian crew.

"but worth noting is just how much the paddle bar has been raised"

Good that you mentioned it Stu, I looked closely at the paddle in ones. They are just hard for me to imagine how they were making some of those, with the drop at 2:52 beyond my comprehension.

But it seems that really good surfers do just that, ride waves that used to considered unrideable.

I've wasted my life. :-|

BTW, Beagle :-)

Incredible footage again Tim! How crazy is Raimana's first one, you guys filming from the from the boat are just on top of the lip, looking down. Epic boat skills!

Seriously, those guys have balls of steel. Extra kudos to the guys hitting those without any life vests.
