Heard and read a lot of ordinary reports about Bobbys and that it has gone downhill. Looks like I am leaning towards Joyos as Raymonds wont talk to me.
Good idea make enquiries henno . Sometimes the camps have management probs due to staff turnover best u continue your quest wisely . I hope you enjoy it take a few walks up n down the beach when you there

Camel is not Matt Dobell, Dobell is a surf guide for Joyos, usually in September each year. You could try there facebook page i wouldnt go to Matt as he might be off working in oz this time of year.

This time of year they might have shut shop too. it is still wet season. G-land is best between may and october but stays open in april and november sometimes.

Has anyone heard from Raymond's recently?
Anyone stayed there in the 2016 season?
Their website (http://www.g-landsurfcamp.com) is saying the account has been suspended and a web search is being very productive.
Have they closed down?
It would be a pity as I quite liked staying there. It was smaller than the other 2 and is closer to the top of the point and the tower. It was a bit rustic but I liked it. Bobby's was crap last time my wife & I stayed there (2015), really gone downhill. So it looks like I/we will be at Joyo's in future, unless Bobbys really lifts its game or Raymonds is open (just for me, too rough for my wife).

Heading to Bali and hope to go overland to Gland.
Now I have the nod from the missus to go alone while she and the grom hang in Ubud I am considering Raymond's.
3 emails so far have gone unanswered. Doesn't look like they have a facebook page. Is the only way to contact them via phone?
